SNOWY DAY!!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't updated my blog since November---where has the time gone?? Of course, there hasn't been alot of exciting news here either---retirement doesn't lend itself to alot of exciting things, LOL!!!!

It's snowing here today...they're saying up to 8.7 inches by tomorrow morning, then blowing snow in the area. All the school corporations cancelled instead of taking chances of having to release kids early, which is good. Watch, we won't get what they're predicting now!! I was supposed to have a job training session today---I just got a part time position with Curves as a Circuit Coach--but due to school closings, Curves closed too, so I'm on my own today with studying the materials. They always close the Lafayette facilities whenever LSC cancels school. I will only be working (after my certification tests anyway) Tuesday and Thursday for a total of 10 hrs a week, just enough to give me a little pocket change. I just needed something to do and get me out of the house before I kill my DH---he's retired too and being home together all the time is driving me crazy!! LOL!!! Of course, he has a woodworking hobby so he does spend alot of time in his basement workshop and I spend alot of time in my craft room on my computer...still he's under foot alot!!!

That's all my news...kind of boring, huh??? I will try to keep this updated..maybe should start it as a weight lose journel, I'm down 17 lbs from when I started working out 6 mos ago and I've lost about 14 inches...still have about 20 lbs to go and more inches off my mid section, which I'm hoping Curves will do for me!! I'll keep this updated on my progress monthly!!
